Hi, I’m Anna. My wife, Lisa, and I have always dreamed of building a family together. We met later in life, and after big moves and career changes, we finally felt ready to start our journey to parenthood. As a queer couple, we knew our path would be unique, but our hearts were full of hope.

Our journey hasn’t been easy. For the past couple of years, we’ve faced the emotional and financial hurdles of trying to conceive with an unknown sperm donor. Each attempt felt like a leap of faith, but the costs have been prohibitive, making it impossible to try as often as we’d like. There were months we had to pause, our hopes put on hold simply because we couldn’t afford to move forward. It’s been a roller-coaster of emotions: hope, disappointment, and the quiet ache of waiting.

Now, we’re working with a wonderful clinic that gives us renewed optimism. With their support, we believe each attempt can be more effective. But we need your help to make this dream a reality. We’re raising funds to cover the costs of fertility treatments, so we can both have the chance to carry a child using the same donor. Your support would mean we can focus on building our family without the heavy weight of financial stress.
